This book contains in written form the many traditional, and possibly fictional, stories surrounding the founding and the earliest days in the history of the town of Woburn, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. Many stories contain the names of some of the earliest residents and settlers involved with the history of the town. Also included is the chronological history of the town from its founding in 1621 to 1892, the date the original book was first published. The original record book, published in 1892, was comprised of 177 pages. This volume reduces the size of the text and presents 4 original pages on each of the present volume's 53 pages.
