This book contains the genealogy of the known descendants of Joseph Northrop, who came from England to New England in 1637, and was one of the original settlers of Milford, Conn., in 1639. The book also contains lists of Northrops and Northrups who served in the military during the Revolutionary War.
Joseph Northrup married in Milford, Mary Norton, daughter of Francis Norton. Only four sons are mentioned in Joseph's will. It is the descendants of these sons that are detailed in this book.
