Thomas Leavenworth was born in England and married Grace (_____). They immigrated to America after 1664 and settled in Woodbury [Litchfield Co., Connecticut], where he died August 3, 1683. His brother, John Leavenworth, no doubt traveled with him on the voyage to America, and lived briefly in Woodbury, then removed to Stratford, where he died in 1702.
