Henry Kingsbury was a close associate of Governor John Winthrop and arrived in Massachusetts in the "Talbot", a ship in Winthrop's Fleet of 1630. He was in Ipswich in 1638 and removed to Haverhill about 1667/68. His first wife, the mother of two his children was Margaret (Blyth) Alabaster, the widow of Thomas Alabaster. The name of his second wife, whom he married in Massachusetts, has not been learned. She was the mother of at least 5 sons.
