Presented in this booklet is the life and descendants of Thomas Hale of Newbury, Massachusetts.  He was born in England in about 1606.  He immigrated with his wife Thomasine, and son, Thomas, Jr., to New England in 1635.  He settled first in Newbury and removed to Haverhill in about 1645.  He was appointed to several civil offices and projects there.  In about 1652 he returned to Newbury and resided there until about 1657.  In that year he moved to Salem and remained there until about 1661.  Then he returned again to Newbury, living there until his death in 1682.  Thomas and Thomasine had five children and it is their descendants that are detailed in this pamphlet.
