In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Goodspeed's Book Shop in Boston, Massachusetts, was the place where genealogists and other persons interested in their family history went to buy the books that contained that information.
Their catalog of books No. 130, published in March and April of 1919 has been preserved and digitized. Hundreds of books with family histories, town and county histories and information of interest to family history researchers are listed on the pages of their catalog.
