Penn, some of his relatives being in New England of whom John Elliot the great Indian Missionary was one. Our branch of the family settling in Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia. Of this family all I know of is three sons named Benjamin, Jacob, and Abraham. The two latter moved to South Carolina, leaving Benjamin in York, or Chester County, Pennsylvania."
