The earliest record of any individual with this name is John Denny, who in 1439, in Combs, co. Suffolk, England, gives land and such to his son, William.
The first immigrant to arrive at Boston was Daniel Denny. He landed on September 12, 1715 and settled in Leicester, Massachusetts in March of 1717. He married Rebecca Jones of Worcester and they had eight children. This book records several Denny lines in New England.
