     The earliest mention of his name in New England records occurs in documents related to the capture of the Pequot fort in 1637.  No records of the date of his immigration can be found.  His birth date is estimated to be before 1590.  His settlement in New London in the Connecticut Colony occurred before 1647.  Prior to that he resided in Wethersfield, conn.  William Comstock married Elizabeth, last name unknown and at least four sons and one daughter are recorded.  The descendants of John, Samuel, Daniel, Christopher, and Elizabeth Comstock are the subjects detailed in this book.
