   Mary Butler with her son Stephen came to Boston as early as 1635.  She was then the wife of Benjamin Ward.  This book details the descendants of Stephen Butler and the children he had by three spouses.  His first wife was Jane (____), and they had six sons, four of whom achieved adulthood.  By his second wife Mary (____), he had a son and a daughter.  With his third wife, Tabitha Blower, he had a son and a daughter.  Stephen Butler died in Boston about 1695.  

   The descendants of Stephen Butler are listed to the tenth generation.  Extensive genealogies of descendant's daughters who married into the Harris, Bates, and Sigourney families are also contained in this book.
