     This book contains the genealogy of the descendants of John Bouton, a native of France, who embarked from Gravesend, England, and landed at Boston in December, 1635, and eventually settled at Norwalk, Conn.  He arrived at age 20 and lived first in Boston and Watertown, Mass.  Later, he removed to Hartford in the Connecticut colony and still later, to Hartford upon its founding.  In 1651 he commenced residing in Norwalk, Conn.  He married three times and had a total of eleven children.
