     From John Biglo, who died in Watertown, Middlesex County, Mass. in 1703, the name of Bigelow is recorded for nine generations through 5,000+ individuals.  In addition, his wife's, Mary Warren's, ancestry is tracked from her father, John Warren, who immigrated to Massachusetts from England in 1630, to descent from William De Warenne, a baron who fought under William the Conqueror at the Battle of Hastings in 1066.

     In addition, an appendix is included with numerous families and individuals with the Bigelow surname, but who cannot be connected to the descendants of John Biglo and Mary Warren with any degree of certainty.
