Part 1 --  Genealogy of the Descendants of Richard Burke of Sudbury, Massachusetts

     Richard Burke was born about 1640 probably in England and the first occurrence of his name in New England  records is in 1670 when he buys land in Sudbury, Mass.  He also owned land in Stow, Mass.  His wife was Mary Parmenter and they had six recorded children; five sons and one daughter.  It is the descendants of these individuals that are detailed in this book.

Part 2 --  Genealogy of the Descendants of Richard Burke of Northampton, Massachusetts

     The place and date of his birth is unknown.  His wife was Sarah (Woodford) Allen, the widow of Nehemiah Allen.  She was born in 1649; married to Richard Burke in 1687.  There is one recorded son for Richard and Sarah Burke, John, born in Northampton in 1689.  John's descendants are accounted for in this book.

Part 3 -- Genealogy of the Descendants of Alexander Alvord of Windsor, Connecticut

     He was born in England about 1620, and died in Northampton, Mass. in 1683.   He removed from Windsor to Northampton in about 1661.  He married Mary Vore or Voar in 1646 in Windsor, Conn. and they had nine recorded children.  It is the descendants of these individuals that are detailed in this book.

Part 4 -- Genealogy of some of the Descendants of Benedict Alvord of Windsor, Connecticut

     The date and place of his birth are unknown, but he was most likely born in England.  He was residing in Windsor, Conn., as early as 1637.  He married Jane Newton in Windsor and their nine children were all born there.  Benedict died in Windsor in 1683.  The contents of this book details the lives and descendants of their children.
